Toyota Corolla 60th Anniversary Edition Revealed - Celebrates 57 Million Global Sales
Toyota has launched a 60th Anniversary special edition of the Corolla for the European market, marking six decades since the nameplate first went on sale. The limited-run Toyota Corolla 60th Anniversary models are offered across the Hatchback, Touring Sports and Sedan body styles.
More than 57 million Corollas have been sold worldwide since the model's 1966 debut, across 12 generations and body styles including hatchback, estate, sedan and van. The Corolla is built at 12 locations globally for sale in 150 countries, with European production based in the UK since 1998 and Turkey since 1994.

Toyota Corolla 60th Anniversary Edition: Styling & Colours
The Hatchback and Touring Sports get an exclusive Boreal Blue metallic paint finish, paired with a contrasting Night Sky Black roof and pillars. Both variants ride on new 10-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels with a contrasting matte and machined finish, along with chromed black wheel nuts.
Matte silver garnishes feature on the lower front bumper and side sills, alongside dark-plated fog light ornaments and rear bumper corner garnishes. Matte silver 60th Anniversary decals run along the lower edge of the rear doors, and the Touring Sports adds an extra matte silver highlight on its lower rear bumper.

The Corolla Sedan gets its own Lunar Sky Blue paint option and carries over most of the styling elements from the Hatchback and Touring Sports, including the 17-inch wheels, badging, scuff plates and carpet mats. It adds a matte silver highlight strip along the bottom edge of the boot lid. Buyers can also choose Platinum White Pearl or Ash Grey metallic paint across the range.
Inside, the Toyota Corolla 60th Anniversary edition gets matte silver scuff plates bearing the 60th Anniversary logo, along with black textile front and rear carpet mats featuring matte silver inserts. Standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch digital driver's display and a 10.5-inch touchscreen running Toyota's Smart Connect+ infotainment system, with cloud-based navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and over-the-air software updates.

Toyota Corolla 60th Anniversary Edition: Powertrain & Safety
The Hatchback and Touring Sports versions of the Corolla 60th Anniversary Edition use Toyota's fifth-generation hybrid technology, with a choice of two setups: a 1.8-litre system producing 140PS (138bhp) and a 2.0-litre system producing 178PS (176bhp). The 1.8-litre combines a four-cylinder petrol engine with two electric motors. The Sedan is offered exclusively with the 1.8-litre hybrid powertrain.
A full suite of Toyota T-Mate safety and driver assistance systems comes as standard across the special edition range. This includes a Pre-Collision System with Intersection Collision Avoidance, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Lane Trace Assist, Emergency Steering Assist and Road Sign Assist.

Orders for the 60th Anniversary Corolla range are open now in Europe, with deliveries scheduled from the end of October 2026. Toyota has not confirmed pricing or production limits for the European market.
The special edition treatment extends to the United States as well, though on a far smaller scale. American buyers get just 2,500 units of a Supersonic Red 60th Anniversary Corolla, arriving in early 2027.
