Top 5 Things That Make The Mahindra XUV 7XO The Best In Its Segment
Mahindra has launched its most advanced ICE SUV, the Mahindra XUV 7XO, in India. This seven-seater SUV has set a new benchmark in its segment with class-leading features and a world-class suspension system. Here, we list the top five things that make the Mahindra XUV 7XO the best in its segment.
Mahindra XUV 7XO Top 5 Segment Leading Features
Powerful Engines
The XUV 7XO is available with both petrol and diesel powertrains, offering impressive power and performance in both variants. These engines are also well-refined and are perfectly matched to the vehicle's dynamics. The 2.0-litre mStallion Turbo Petrol with Direct Injection (TGDi) produces 149.2 kW of power at 5,000 rpm and 380 Nm of torque between 1,750-3,000 rpm.

The 2.0-litre mHawk Turbo CRDe Diesel engine delivers 137 kW of power at 3,500 rpm and 420 Nm of torque between 1,600-2,800 rpm (450 Nm between 1,750-2,800 rpm in the automatic variant). It is available with both manual and automatic transmission options, as well as All-Wheel Drive capability. Additionally, the SUV features three drive modes: Zip, Zap, and Zoom.
Segment-First Triple Screen Display
Mahindra offers a segment-first 31.24 cm Dolby Vision triple-screen infotainment system, borrowed from its electric sibling, the XEV 9S. This coast-to-coast screen setup is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chipset, which Mahindra claims is the most advanced chipset used in cars globally.

Notably, this system is offered as a standard feature across all variants, which is highly impressive for an SUV in this segment. The setup features 16 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, support for up to 2.4 Gbps connectivity, Wi-Fi 6.0, and Bluetooth 5.2.
It also features a class-leading 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos and adaptive sound environments. The infotainment system supports Adrenox+ connectivity and offers over 49 pre-installed apps for entertainment, navigation, work, and connectivity.
Phenomenal Convenience Features
Mahindra has equipped the XUV 7XO with a wide range of luxury features to enhance passenger comfort and convenience. The SUV offers active ventilation for both front and rear seats. The Premium leatherette upholstery enhances the luxurious feel, along with generous cabin space and ample legroom.

The seat foam density has been increased for more comfort. Additional features include a retractable rear sunblind, dual-zone fully automatic climate control, multi-zone ambient lighting, a six-way powered driver seat with memory and welcome function, and a Boss Mode for rear passengers, offering additional legroom.
The Safety Benchmark
For the first time in its segment, the Mahindra XUV 7XO is equipped with a 540-degree camera system and a digital video recording, allowing drivers to view even underneath the vehicle for enhanced confidence during manoeuvres.

The Level 2 ADAS system has been upgraded to Sense+, offering 17 comprehensive safety features. Other safety highlights include six airbags, headlamp boosters for improved visibility, all-wheel disc brakes, frameless IRVMs to reduce glare, a Max Defrost function, an electronic parking brake, and the Intelli Control system. The SUV is also engineered to achieve a 5-star safety rating under BNCAP testing.
World's First DaVinci Suspension System
The biggest highlight of the Mahindra XUV 7XO is the world's first DaVinci Suspension System with advanced damping technology. This system adjusts to road conditions in real time, delivering a smoother and more comfortable ride.

It also enhances control and stability during high-speed driving, cornering, and heavy braking. Mahindra showcased this technology during the launch event using a glass test demonstration. Such advanced damping systems are mostly available only in high-end luxury vehicles, but Mahindra has made them accessible to mass-market buyers.
Mahindra XUV 7XO Prices
