Top 5 Most Affordable SUVs With A Panoramic Sunroof
Sunroofs sell cars in India, panoramic ones even more so. Until recently, the larger retractable glass roof panel wasn't a feature that you could find on more affordable SUV offerings in the country. But recently, that trend has changed as the demand for sunroofs continues to increase in India, despite our weather not being the best place for such a feature.
And now, with the arrival of a new variant of the Tata Nexon, getting a car with a panoramic sunroof has become even more affordable, dipping below the Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. So let's take a look at the five most affordable ICE SUVs with a panoramic sunroof currently on sale in India, by entry price of the sunroof-equipped variant.

5. Tata Curvv - from Rs 11.65 lakh (Pure+ S)
The Curvv is the only coupe-SUV on this list, and its sloped roofline makes the panoramic glass feel even more dramatic inside. The Pure+ S brings it in at Rs 11.65 lakh, paired to a 120hp, 170Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 6-speed manual.
Those after more punch can move up to a 125hp, 225Nm tune of the same engine, or the 115hp, 260Nm 1.5-litre turbo-diesel - both available with a 7-speed dual-clutch auto.

4. MG Astor - from Rs 11.34 lakh (Shine)
The Astor is the most affordable midsize SUV with a panoramic sunroof, undercutting most of its segment rivals on this feature. It arrives in the one-above-base Shine trim at Rs 11.34 lakh, though buyers get just one powertrain choice: a 110hp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol. A 5-speed manual is standard; the CVT is only available on higher trims.

3. Mahindra XUV 3XO - from Rs 11.17 lakh (RevX A)
The XUV 3XO didn't launch with a panoramic sunroof, Mahindra added it through the RevX variant range in July 2025, and it's made a real difference to the sub-4-metre SUV's value proposition.
The XUV 3XO RevX A starts at Rs 11.17 lakh with a 131hp, 230Nm 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol, available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque-converter automatic. A 117hp, 300Nm 1.5-litre turbo-diesel rounds out the lineup, in 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT form.

2. Kia Syros - from Rs 10.74 lakh (HTK+)
Space is central to the Kia Syros's identity, so a panoramic sunroof was always going to be part of the package. The big movable glass panel arrives at the mid-spec HTK+ from Rs 10.74 lakh, with both engine options still available at this trim.
The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine of the Kia Syros puts out 120hp and 172Nm; the 1.5-litre turbo-diesel makes 116hp and 250Nm. The Syros petrol can be had with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT, while the diesel offers a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque-converter auto.

1. Tata Nexon - from Rs 9.59 lakh (Pure Plus PS)
When Tata launched the Nexon Pure Plus PS earlier this month, India's most popular SUV became the first in the nation to offer a panoramic sunroof under Rs 10 lakh. It's available with three powertrain options: a 120hp, 170Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 115hp, 260Nm 1.5-litre diesel, and a 100hp bi-fuel turbo-petrol CNG.
Petrol variants of the Nexon start at Rs 9.59 lakh with a 6-speed manual, or Rs 10.14 lakh with an AMT. Diesel comes in at Rs 10.54 lakh manual and Rs 11.19 lakh AMT. The CNG, at Rs 10.39 lakh, is the only SUV in this list to offer a panoramic sunroof and bi-fuel capability.
The Pure Plus PS also gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker system, reverse camera, cruise control, auto-fold ORVMs, and auto LED headlamps and taillamps.
All prices ex-showroom, India.
