Tata Sierra Legend Series Launched At Rs 11.99 Lakh
Tata has launched the Sierra Legend Series, a new trim line for the Sierra that starts at Rs 11.99 lakh. The update adds 18 variants across five trims: Smart+ L, Pure L, Pure L(O), Pure+ L and Adventure+ L, each carrying an 'L' suffix.
These trims are based on the Sierra's existing lower- and mid-spec versions and cost Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000 more than the variants they draw from. Tata will continue selling the standard Sierra range alongside the new Legend Series line.

The Smart+ L gets leatherette seats and interior trim, wheel covers, auto-folding ORVMs, steering-mounted controls and roof rails over the standard Smart+. The Pure L builds on this with a 10.25-inch touchscreen offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear camera with guidelines, an 8-speaker sound system, cruise control, a tyre-pressure monitoring system, a rear wiper/washer, a height-adjustable driver seat and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Pure L(O) adds a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers over the Pure L. Higher up, the Pure+ L introduces a full leatherette cabin, ventilated front seats, a 6-way powered driver's seat, dual-zone climate control, a manual Boss mode, a thigh support extender, a one-touch anti-pinch driver's window, 65W USB-C chargers, a boot lamp and a rear defogger.
At the top of the Tata Sierra Legend Series variant list, the Adventure+ L brings a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, front parking sensors, LED fog lights, terrain modes, frequency-dependent dampers, a 12.3-inch touchscreen paired with a digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, a wireless charging pad, a cooled glovebox and a rear seat with 60:40 split-fold, recline, adjustable headrests and an occupant sensor.

Six colour options are on offer: Pristine White, Pure Grey, Coorg Clouds, Munnar Mist, Bengal Rouge and Andaman Adventure. Pristine White, Pure Grey and Coorg Clouds are common across all five trims, Munnar Mist extends to the Pure L and Pure L(O), while the Pure+ L and Adventure+ L get the full six-colour palette.
Tata Sierra Legend Series: Engine & Gearbox Options
Powertrain options carry over largely unchanged from the trims each Legend Series variant is based on. The line-up spans a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (105bhp/145Nm), a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit (158bhp/255Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (116bhp/260Nm).

Two exceptions stand out: the Pure+ L is now the most affordable way into the Sierra's turbo-petrol automatic, and the Adventure+ L gains the option of the naturally aspirated petrol paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Outside the Legend Series, Tata has also made the 1.5-litre petrol-DCT combination available on the standard Sierra Adventure+ trim.
