Tata Sierra Jubilee Edition Launched With ROQ-Sourced Accessory Packs

Mumbai-based carmakerTata Motors has introduced the Sierra Jubilee Edition to celebrate 50,000 units of the SUV being sold in the country. Offered across the Smart+, Pure and Adventure trims, the Tata Sierra Jubilee Edition bundles dealer-fitted accessories to the three trim levels.

The all-new Tata Sierra was launched in November last year, and deliveries for the SUV commenced in January. Tata Motors has not revealed the pricing for the Sierra Jubilee Edition, though the accessories are drawn from the SUV's existing ROQ accessory range.

Tata Sierra Smart+ Jubilee Edition Accessories

On the entry-level Tata Sierra Smart+ variant, the Jubilee Edition adds cladding to both the front grille and tailgate along with roof rails, and semi-leatherette seat covers with Jubilee Edition branding. Also offered is a 4-speaker audio system, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a rear-view camera.

For the Tata Sierra Pure trim, the Jubilee Edition carries over the grille and tailgate cladding while adding wheel arch cladding, roof rails, and semi-leatherette seat covers. On top of the previously mentioned features, the Jubilee Edition for the Sierra Pure variant further includes a leatherette steering wheel cover, magnetic sunshades, a parcel tray, and front and rear dash cameras.

The mid-spec Adventure trim of the Tata Sierra gets the full ROQ styling kit along with front and rear dash cameras, giving it the most rugged appearance among the three Sierra Jubilee Edition trims.

The Tata Sierra continues to be offered with three engine choices, two petrol and one diesel. The base powerplant option is the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 106hp and 145Nm. This NA engine for the Sierra is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

The more powerful petrol powerplant offered with the Sierra is a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit that produces 160hp and 255Nm. This turbo-petrol powerplant is offered exclusively with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The lone diesel offering is a 1.5-litre powerplant that churns out 118hp. When offered with the 6-speed manual gearbox, the engine pushes out 260Nm which rises to 280Nm when the 6-speed automatic gearbox is the chosen transmission.
