Tata Punch HBX Revealed: Rugged Adventure Edition Could Be The Wildest Punch Yet
Tata Motors has showcased the Tata Punch HBX special edition on its official social media channels. This rugged-looking vehicle is an adventure-focused version of the Punch facelift and could come with the most powerful configuration.
Tata Punch HBX Special Edition Revealed
The Tata Punch is one of the most successful sub-4-metre SUVs in India. It is available in petrol, CNG, and electric versions, with all variants holding a significant market share in their respective segments. However, the HBX is a special edition of the Punch, designed to look more rugged and adventure-focused.

It gets chunky bumpers with armour guard skid plates, dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels, a blacked-out roof and ORVMs, an air-shield rear spoiler, armour guard side cladding, thick lower body cladding, and pronounced wheel arches that enhance its adventure-ready styling.
The LED lights and DRLs are borrowed from the regular Punch, further adding to its muscular appearance. The cabin could remain largely similar to the standard Punch, but may feature additional adventure-focused elements. The seats and upholstery could also get a sportier all-black finish.

Powering the vehicle will likely be the 1.2-litre iTurbo petrol engine, producing 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This powertrain combination could offer an exciting driving experience with strong performance and superior acceleration.
Punch also offers world class safety with 6 standard airbags, 360 degree camera, Hill descent control, Auto dimming IRVM, iTPMS, Auto headlamp with rain sensing wipers, Blind view Monitor, Front fog lamps and cornering function.
The Tata Punch HBX could be launched as a limited edition model or may be offered as a factory-fitted accessory package at the time of purchase. The standard Tata Punch starts at Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom) for the naturally aspirated variant, while the turbo-petrol version is priced at Rs 8.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The HBX, being a top-spec adventure-focused model, is expected to command a premium over both.
