Tata Punch Facelift Launch Set For Jan 13 - Revised Design Teased
Tata Motors has released the first official teaser of the Tata Punch facelift, offering a first look at several design updates to the sub-compact SUV ahead of its planned official debut on January 13, 2026.
The short teaser video highlights a revised front fascia for the Punch facelift, showing daytime running lights (DRLs) framed by piano black elements and a polygonal headlamp unit that aligns with Tata's current design language seen on models such as the Harrier and Safari.
Completing the updated front design is a newly styled front bumper, which appears more sculpted compared with the current Punch, suggesting a bolder look that differentiates the facelift from its predecessor while retaining the SUV's overall silhouette.
The teaser also hints at new alloy wheel designs that differ from the existing Punch, with sharper lines and updated profiles that add visual distinctiveness to the facelifted model.
At the rear, the Punch facelift appears to feature a redesigned taillight layout, including a full-width light strip that spans the tailgate, echoing a styling trend seen on other recent Tata SUVs and adding visual width to the rear end.
The teaser shows the facelift in a new blue paint finish, contrasting with previous test mules seen in heavy camouflage, and providing the first clear indication of how Tata intends to position the updated Punch visually.
Details of the cabin have not been confirmed in the teaser, but earlier spy shots and reports suggest the facelift could receive updates, including a new dashboard layout, a larger infotainment screen borrowed from the Altroz, and a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo.
Under the bonnet, the Punch facelift is expected to retain the existing 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, producing around 88 hp and 115 Nm of peak torque, along with a CNG option offering approximately 73.5 hp and 103 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT transmission.
