Tata Punch EV Facelift Launch This Month — New Updated Design & Features Expected

Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the facelifted Punch EV in India soon. The popular electric micro SUV is expected to feature refreshed styling, added features, and a more competitive price. The updated model is likely to arrive by February 20, 2026.

Tata already leads the EV segment in India with the Nexon EV, against rivals like Mahindra and JSW-MG Motor. The Punch EV will continue to sit below the Nexon electric SUV as a more affordable electric offering. Recently, Tata launched the facelifted Punch ICE model, with segment-leading features and a turbo powertrain option, setting the stage for similar updates in the electric version.

The design is set to share several elements with the recently launched Punch facelift, but with EV-specific touches such as a closed chrome grille and a front-mounted charging port. The car will also have revised bumpers and aerodynamic alloy wheels.

It is also expected to feature a front camera and sensors integrated into the lower black cladding, along with a new silver skid plate with vertical detailing. The EV version is also likely to get a distinctive Neon Yellow colour option, exclusive to the electric variant. At the rear, it is expected to retain tail lamps similar to the ICE model.
