Tata Nexon EV 45 Variants Get Two New Colourways - 6 Options To Choose From
Tata Motors has updated the Tata Nexon EV 45 lineup with two new dual-tone exterior colour options - Pure Grey and Ocean Blue. These new shades are available only on the longer range 45 kWh battery variants of the Tata Nexon EV .
The new colours for the Tata Nexon EV - Pure Grey and Ocean Blue - can be paired with contrasting roof treatments depending on the variant chosen by the customer. On the Fearless and Empowered 45 trims, the new colourways are paired with a black roof, while on the Creative 45 trim, they are offered with a white roof.
These additions expand the visual choices for buyers of the Tata Nexon EV beyond the existing palette, which includes shades such as Pristine White Dual Tone, Daytona Grey, Empowered Oxide and the Dark Edition Specific Carbon Black. The new colour options currently do not extend to the 30 kWh battery variants of the Tata Nexon EV.
The Tata Nexon EV 45 is equipped with a 46.08 kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed MIDC range of 489 km. The battery is paired with a single electric motor rated at 144 bhp and 215 Nm of torque.
Charging support for the Tata Nexon EV includes a 7.2 kW AC home wall box that takes about 6 hours 36 minutes for a full charge from 10-100 per cent, and 60 kW DC fast-charging that can take the battery from 10-80 per cent in about 40 minutes.
Interior equipment on the Nexon EV 45 variants includes a 12.30-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch HD digital instrument cluster, and features such as 360-degree camera, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, air purifier, Type-C ports, sunroof, JBL audio system and voice commands in higher trims.
The Nexon EV has been the key model in Tata Motors' electric vehicle range as it took charge of pushing India's EV revolution forward. The Tata Nexon EV has achieved notable sales milestones for the Mumbai-based carmaker, including becoming the first EV to cross 1,00,000 cumulative sales in India. Tata currently offers the Nexon EV with two battery packs and multiple personalities (Tata speak for variant levels).
