Tata Harrier EV QWD Becomes More Affordable - New Fearless Variant Launched
Tata Motors has launched the Fearless QWD variant of the Harrier EV in India at ₹26.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Fearless QWD variant introduces a lower entry point for the dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup in the Harrier EV lineup.
The Tata Harrier EV range is priced between ₹21.49 lakh and ₹28.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Fearless QWD sits below the higher AWD trims while retaining the larger battery pack and dual-motor configuration.
The Tata Harrier EV Fearless QWD uses a 75kWh battery pack paired with a dual-motor setup driving both axles. The configuration enables all-wheel-drive functionality. Combined output from the dual motor setup of the Tata Harrier QWD stands at up to 390hp and 504Nm. The SUV can accelerate from 0-100kph in around 6.3 seconds.
The Harrier's 75kWh QWD variants offer a claimed range of up to 622km on a single charge. Charging support includes DC fast charging that allows for a 20 to 80 per cent recharge in 25 minutes using a high-capacity 120kW DC fast charger.
The Fearless variant of the Tata Harrier EV brings a host of features includes a large touchscreen infotainment system and connected car features. The Fearless QWD also offers multiple drive modes and terrain modes. Safety equipment includes multiple airbags, electronic stability control and other standard safety systems available across the Harrier EV range.
The launch of the Tata Harrier EV Fearless QWD expands the Harrier EV lineup by introducing the dual-motor setup at a lower price point, which will surely make the dual-motor, all-wheel-drive Harrier a more attainable choice for its customer base.
