Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo Gets Two New Colour Options - Limited Numbers Only

Czech carmaer Skoda has expanded the Slavia Monte Carlo range in India with the launch of two new colour options, Shimla Green and Steel Grey, both offered in a distinctive dual-tone finish. The limited-run colour options for the Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo are capped at 200 units and are available across both 1.0 AT and 1.5 DSG variants.

The Monte Carlo trim name pays homage to Skoda's association with the Rallye Monte Carlo since 1912, along with the brand's various victories and podium finishes in the event since then. The new shades combine the Slavia's design language with the Skoda's Rallye Monte Carlo heritage and are aimed at buyers seeking a more exclusive ownership experience within the Slavia lineup.

Apart from the new colour options, the Slavia Monte Carlo continues to sport blacked-out exterior design cues, signature Monte Carlo styling elements and a premium black and red interior theme.

Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo - Engine and Gearbox Options

The Slavia Monte Carlo is offered with two turbocharged petrol powerplants. The base 1.0-litre TSI unit is a three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that makes 114bhp and 178Nm of torque. The Slavia's 1.0-litre engine comes paired with a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The Slava's larger 1.5-litre TSI engine is a four-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit that generates 149bhp and 250Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox (DSG). The Slavia's 1.5-litre turbo engine remains the only powerplant in its segment with Active Cylinder Deactivation Technology, which shuts down two cylinders under light loads to save fuel, along with Plasma-Coated Cylinder Liners for better heat management and thermal efficiency.
