2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift Revealed, Bookings Open

Czech carmaker Skoda has revealed the facelifted Slavia sedan, bringing cosmetic updates, new features and a new automatic gearbox option for the 1.0 TSI engine. Pre-bookings for the sedan are now open, with prices set to be announced in the first week of October.

Deliveries of the 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift will begin during the festive season. The mid-life update to the sedan carries over the Slavia's overall silhouette but adds a 360-degree camera, LED elements integrated into the front grille and a Kushaq-like rear seat massaging function.

The headlights, tail-lights, front grille, air dam and alloy wheels of the Skoda Slavia facelift have all been refreshed. The grille gets segmented LED elements similar to the Skoda Kushaq, while the rear features sequential turn indicators and a new trim panel with 'SKODA' lettering between the tail-lights. The side profile remains largely unchanged.

Two new paint options join the palette: Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige, though deliveries of the latter will only begin from December. The rest of the colour lineup carries over, comprising Shimla Green, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Steel Grey, Lava Blue, Cherry Red and Deep Black.

Inside, the layout of the Slavia's dashboard is unchanged, but screen sizes have grown. A 10.1-inch touchscreen replaces the previous 10-inch unit, while a 10.25-inch digital driver's display takes over from the 8-inch screen, both with updated graphics and features. A panoramic sunroof is still not offered; the Slavia continues with a single-pane unit.

The segment-first rear seat massage function headlines the feature additions, alongside a 360-degree camera that replaces the earlier rear-only setup, similar to the Kushaq. An ADAS suite remains unavailable on the sedan.

Powertrain options also carry over unchanged, with the 115hp 1.0 TSI and 150hp 1.5 TSI turbo-petrol engines continuing. The 1.0 TSI is offered with a 6-speed manual, while the 1.5 TSI retains its 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The key mechanical update is on the 1.0 TSI automatic, which switches to an 8-speed torque-converter gearbox in place of the earlier 6-speed unit.

The 2026 update positions the Slavia to compete with the Hyundai Verna and Honda City, both of which received facelifts earlier this year, while the Volkswagen Virtus is likely to follow with an update later in the year. The outgoing Slavia is priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 18.19 lakh, ex-showroom. With the facelift, a price hike of up to Rs 85,000 is expected.
