2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift Production Begins Ahead of Festive Season Launch

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India has commenced production of the Skoda Slavia facelift at its Chakan plant in Pune. The updated Skoda Slavia gets an 8-speed torque-converter automatic for the 1.0-litre TSI engine, along with revised exterior styling and new features.

Prices for the Skoda Slavia facelift are expected to be announced soon.The timing of the Slavia facelift's launch will target the festive season, when passenger vehicle purchase consideration peaks.

Skoda Slavia Facelift: Powertrain & Other Updates

Both turbo-petrol engines from the current Slavia will carry over to the facelifted sedan, with the 1.0-litre TSI making 115hp and the 1.5-litre TSI making 150hp. The bigger engine keeps its 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, while the 1.0 TSI gets the all-new 8-speed torque-converter gearbox instead of its current 6-speed unit.

The facelift Slavia also features a 360-degree Area View camera, rear sequential turn indicators and a Rear Seat Massage function (a segment-first feature). The updated infotainment system for the Slavia facelift adds an AI Companion powered by Google Cloud. .
