New Skoda Slavia Facelift Incoming — What we Know So Far
Skoda is expected to launch the facelifted Slavia sedan in India in the coming months, bringing significant updates to the design and features. It could borrow many of its features from the recently launched Skoda Kushaq Facelift. Positioned in the mid-premium sedan segment, the facelift could also be priced higher than the existing model.

New Exterior Design
Similar to the Kushaq facelift, the Slavia is expected to receive refreshed exterior styling. Updates may include revised LED lighting, a refreshed grille design, new alloy wheels, updated bumpers, redesigned tail lamps and additional exterior colour options. An illuminated Skoda logo could also be introduced as part of the update.

Interior Updates
Inside, the new Slavia is likely to feature a refreshed cabin layout similar to the Kushaq. Expected updates include a new digital instrument cluster, an upgraded infotainment system with Google-based connectivity features, and a redesigned steering wheel with the latest Skoda branding.
Feature Additions
Some of the comfort and convenience features could include a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, dual-tone ambient lighting, improved climate control, auto-dimming IRVM, rain-sensing wipers, enhanced touch controls, parking sensors, and additional rear-seat comfort enhancements.

Safety Expectations
Safety is expected to remain a strong focus, with multiple airbags, advanced driver assistance features, and all-wheel disc brakes likely to be offered. The current Slavia has already secured a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, setting a strong benchmark for the updated model.
Engine & Transmission
The facelifted Slavia will retain its existing powertrain. This includes a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or the newly introduced 8-speed Torque converter automatic transmission.

The more powerful 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine delivers 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque and is expected to continue with the 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. This is also the most powerful car in the segment, sharing its powertrain with the Volkswagen Virtus.
Price Expectations And Rivals
The current Slavia starts at around ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted model could see a slight premium, with expected pricing starting around ₹10.5 lakh. It will continue to compete with rivals such as the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and Hyundai Verna.
