Skoda Kodiaq RS Sold Out In Just 6 Minutes Before Prices Were Even Announced

The Skoda Kodiaq RS was sold out in just six minutes, making it one of the fastest-selling performance SUVs in India. All 50 units of the RS-badged SUV were sold out even before the price announcement.

Skoda is celebrating 125 years of motorsport heritage and the 51st anniversary of its iconic RS badge. To mark this historic occasion, the Czech automaker has brought its flagship Kodiaq RS to the Indian market in limited numbers via CBU, offering enthusiasts an exclusive opportunity to own one of the brand's most performance-focused models.

Skoda Kodiaq RS Legacy

The Kodiaq RS combines Skoda's rich motorsport heritage with exhilarating performance, premium luxury, advanced technology, and all-wheel-drive capability. Earlier, Skoda introduced the Octavia RS in India in 2025, and the first allocation was sold out within just 20 minutes, highlighting the strong demand for the brand's performance-oriented products.

Now, the latest batch of the Kodiaq RS, comprising just 50 units, has sold out in an astonishing six minutes, reflecting the enthusiasm, passion, and unwavering loyalty of customers towards both the brand and the RS lineage.

Speaking about this milestone, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Skoda Auto India, said, "The RS has stood as a global icon for over half a century, with a passionate following in India for more than two decades. With the 'Surrender' campaign, we brought to customers a unique combination of performance and versatility in the Kodiaq RS. We are delighted-though not surprised-to see customers truly 'surrender' to its motorsport heritage, 4x4 capability, 7-seat luxury, and its standing as the quickest Škoda in India."

Premium Sporty Design

Drawing inspiration from Skoda's rich motorsport legacy, the Kodiaq RS features a distinctive sporty design with a blacked-out grille, black ORVMs, black window trims, roof rails, and D-pillars, all of which enhance its aggressive and dynamic road presence.

Exclusive cabin and colour option

Inside, the SUV offers a premium and sporty 7-seat cabin experience with an all-black interior theme, sport seats with contrasting red stitching, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a large infotainment system designed to deliver both comfort and connectivity. The Kodiaq RS is available in four striking exterior colours: Moon White, Magic Black, Velvet Red, and Steel Grey.

Advanced Engineering

The Kodiaq RS also comes equipped with several advanced engineering technologies and driver-focused features. These include Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC Plus), which continuously adapts to varying driving conditions through multiple drive modes, and progressive steering that improves precision and enhances driving confidence, particularly at lower speeds.

Performance

Powering the Kodiaq RS is a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 265 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and a 4x4 drivetrain. This performance-oriented setup enables the SUV to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds and achieve a top speed of up to 231 km/h, making it the fastest Skoda currently available in India.
