Skoda India Records Highest-Ever Sales – Kylaq SUV Drives Massive Growth!
Skoda Auto India has recorded its highest-ever quarterly sales in Q1 2026, with sales growing by 17% compared to the same period in 2025. The Skoda Kylaq SUV has played a major role in driving this growth, marking one of the brand's strongest performances in its 25-year journey in India.
Skoda 2026 Q1 Sales Report
From January to March 2026, Skoda Auto India sold a total of 20,028 units in the domestic market. This surge has accelerated the brand's growth and expanded its market share, particularly in the sub-4 metre SUV segment.

The demand for the Kylaq SUV remains strong and consistent, putting Skoda in a favourable position. This model has been specifically developed for the Indian market and comes equipped with several advanced features as standard. Its competitive pricing makes German engineering more accessible to a wider range of customers.
The new Kushaq facelift is also attractively priced and offers several segment-leading features such as LED headlamps, alloy wheels, rear wiper and defogger, sunroof, automatic climate control, and auto IRVM as standard. It also introduces segment-first rear massage seats, enhancing comfort for passengers.

These models are supported by the brand's mid-size sedan Slavia and the premium SUV Kodiaq. While Skoda may not have as extensive a lineup as some competitors, its focused portfolio delivers a strong balance of driving performance, comfort, and practicality.
Skoda Auto India Brand Director Ashish Gupta said, "Continuing our growth surge into 2026 with our biggest-ever quarter is a strong validation of the momentum we have built over the past year. After achieving a record in 2025, it is encouraging to see that we are sustaining this trajectory while also setting new benchmarks for ourselves. This growth is driven by a combination of a stronger and more accessible product portfolio, deeper market reach, and a sharper focus on customer-centric initiatives."

He further added, "The Kylaq continues to take the brand to newer customers and regions, and the new Kushaq that was recently introduced has made its mark. Meanwhile, the Slavia and Kodiaq continue to drive consistent demand in their segments. As we move ahead, we remain focused on maintaining this momentum through consistent execution, launching relevant products, expanding our network, and enhancing the overall ownership experience."
Skoda also offers a 4-year warranty, 4-year roadside assistance, and four Labour-free services across its range. Additionally, the brand has over 330 customer touchpoints across 180 cities, strengthening its service and support network in India.
