Skoda Epiq Breaks Cover With Two Battery Packs & Up To 440km Range
Czech carmaker Skoda has revealed the production-spec Epiq, its smallest and most affordable electric vehicle to date. Positioned below the Elroq in the brand's global lineup, the Skoda Epiq slots in as the new entry-level EV after first appearing as a concept over two years ago and again at the 2025 Munich Motor Show.
Built on the MEB+ platform shared with the Volkswagen ID Polo, the Skoda Epiq arrives in three variants - 35, 40 and 55 - with front-wheel drive across the board. Pricing has not yet been announced.

Skoda Epiq - Exterior Design
The Epiq adopts Skoda's Modern Solid design language, pairing upright proportions with rounded edges. Up front, a 'SKODA' wordmark sits on the bonnet above a blacked-out grille flanked by slim, angled DRLs. The main headlamps - with Matrix LED units available as an option - flow downward into L-shapes, tied together by a black bumper section with eight slats and a silver skid plate.
The side profile features subtle cladding, 'SKODA' lettering on the C-pillars, black roof rails and aero-optimised alloy wheels ranging from 17 to 19 inches. At the rear, T-shaped LED tail-lamps anchor the design alongside a high-set wordmark, a sizeable roof spoiler and a slatted bumper.

The Skoda Epiq measures 4,171mm in length, 1,798mm in width, 1,581mm in height and 2,601mm in wheelbase, with a drag coefficient of 0.275. Boot capacity stands at 475 litres, supplemented by a 25-litre frunk.
Skoda Epiq - Cabin & Features
Inside, the Skoda Epiq offers trim-dependent colour schemes including grey, mint green and brown. A 13-inch Android-based touchscreen dominates the dashboard, accompanied by a two-spoke steering wheel and a compact digital driver's display. Physical controls below the central AC vents and on the steering wheel are a welcome addition, as is a floating centre console with ample storage.

Depending on specification, the Epiq can be equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a wireless charging pad, a 10-speaker Canton sound system, V2L and V2V functionality, an ADAS suite, seven airbags and a 360-degree camera.
Skoda Epiq - Battery, Power & Range
The Epiq 35 and 40 variants use a 38.5kWh battery, producing 116hp and 135hp respectively, both with 267Nm of torque. The range-topping Epiq 55 pairs its 55kWh pack with a single electric motor making 211hp and 290Nm.

Skoda claims 310km of range for the smaller battery and 440km for the larger unit. A 10-80 per cent charge on a DC fast charger takes approximately 24 minutes on the 55kWh variant.
