Skoda Partners CSC Grameen eStore to Reach New Buyers In India – Expands Access In Rural Markets
Škoda Auto India has announced a strategic partnership with Common Services Centres (CSC) Grameen eStore to expand its footprint across non-metropolitan and semi-urban regions in India.
With this move, Škoda becomes one of the few premium automotive brands to utilise CSC's extensive digital and physical network to reach customers in newer and untapped markets.

Skoda Auto India Expands Reach Beyond Metro Cities
With this collaboration, Škoda Auto India will offer its key models - the Kylaq, Kushaq, and Slavia - to a wider audience across the country. This initiative aligns with the brand's strategy to improve accessibility and strengthen its presence beyond traditional urban areas.
Speaking on the partnership, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Škoda Auto India, highlighted the company's focus on expanding reach and relevance. He said ""At Škoda Auto India, our growth journey is anchored in improving accessibility and building
relevance across newer markets. Our partnership with CSC Grameen eStore allows us to
bridge access gaps by combining the strength of a trusted local network with our diverse
product portfolio that democratises technology for Indian customers.
He added "This initiative will bring Škoda Auto closer to customers, enabling them to experience our products and services more conveniently, regardless of their location, creating a more inclusive and accessible mobility ecosystem."

Hybrid Retail Strategy for Wider Access
The CSC network, which has a strong presence across rural and semi-urban India, will act as a key touchpoint for customers who previously had limited access to premium automotive brands. This partnership introduces a hybrid retail model that blends digital convenience with physical support.
Under this model, Škoda aims to:
- Expand last-mile connectivity across emerging markets
- Enable assisted digital discovery and purchase journeys
- Strengthen customer engagement through local entrepreneurs
- Leverage its existing dealership network for delivery and after-sales service

What is it for Buyers?
As part of this initiative, models like the Škoda Kylaq, Škoda Kushaq, and Škoda Slavia will be accessible through the CSC Grameen eStore platform. Customers will be able to explore products, make enquiries, and begin their purchase journey digitally, while still benefiting from local assistance.
This move reflects a broader industry trend where automakers are increasingly focusing on Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets for growth. By tapping into CSC's vast network, Škoda is positioning itself to attract new customers and strengthen its foothold in India's evolving automotive landscape.
