Rolls-Royce Gives Its Electric Coupe A Massive Upgrade: More Power, More Range, More Luxury
Rolls-Royce has unveiled the new Spectre Series 2, bringing more power, greater range, and enhanced luxury to its flagship electric grand tourer. Along with these upgrades, the luxury EV also receives several cabin enhancements aimed at elevating the overall ownership experience.
Rolls-Royce Unveils Spectre Series 2
The Spectre has been sold as Rolls-Royce's all-electric grand tourer for the past four years. This marks the first major update for the model, bringing new features, improved performance, and enhanced efficiency.

The overall coupe silhouette remains unchanged, but the Spectre Series 2 now introduces a new exterior paint option called Ethereal Blue. It also features newly designed 23-inch forged alloy wheels with a multi-spoke pattern, each hand-finished to Rolls-Royce's exacting standards.
The Black Badge variant receives a new Iced Black exterior styling package. This package adds a satin finish to the grille surround, door handles, bumper inserts, and several other exterior elements, giving the vehicle a more distinctive appearance. Inside, Rolls-Royce has refined the cabin with a new dual-tone bamboo textile-inspired interior theme, premium upholstery, and expanded personalization options for customers.
More Range And Power

The updated Spectre Series 2 now produces 592 bhp, up from 549 bhp in the previous model, while torque has increased to 1,015 Nm from 900 Nm. This translates to an increase of nearly 8 percent in power and over 12 percent in torque.
The Black Badge variant, equipped with Infinity Mode, can generate up to 670 bhp and 1,100 Nm of torque in its performance-oriented Spirited Mode. This is a more sporty version of the Spectre Series 2.

Apart from the increase in power, the driving range has also been significantly improved. The Spectre Series 2 now offers a certified range of up to 628 km, compared to 530 km previously. This improvement represents an efficiency gain of nearly 18 percent, allowing owners to cover greater distances on a single charge.
Other Details
The Rolls-Royce Spectre is currently priced at ₹7.5 crore (ex-showroom) in India, while the Black Badge variant, introduced last year, is priced at ₹9.5 crore (ex-showroom). Rolls-Royce vehicles are typically purchased by niche customers seeking the highest levels of luxury and exclusivity.

The Spectre delivers this experience in an all-electric package, and with these latest upgrades, the updated model is expected to command an even higher price than the current version if launched in the Indian market.
With improved performance, greater efficiency, and enhanced personalization options, the Spectre Series 2 further strengthens Rolls-Royce's position in the ultra-luxury electric vehicle segment.
