Renault Reveals ‘FutuReady' Plan: 7 New Launches & €2 Billion Export Target By 2030
Renault Group has revealed its roadmap for 2030, outlining an ambitious plan that includes 22 new launches for the European market and 14 for international markets, including India. The strategy was presented by its CEO François Provost in Chennai.
Renault Reveals 'FutuReady' Plan
The French automaker is targeting significant growth across global markets, with a strong focus on India. As part of this strategy, the company plans to introduce seven Renault Group models in India by 2030, positioning the country among its top three priority markets.

India continues to serve as a key hub for Renault Group, with its Chennai facility being one of the brand's largest manufacturing bases. The company is aiming for an ambitious €2 billion export target by 2030, further strengthening its global production footprint.
Renault Group's Four Strategic Pillars
1. Growth Ready: The company aims to stay ahead of evolving customer preferences, with a total of 36 new launches planned by 2030 across both European and international markets.
2. Tech Ready: Focused on developing people-centric technologies, this pillar covers advancements across vehicles, industrial systems, and strategic partnerships.
3. Excellence Ready: Renault Group will continue to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost discipline across all operations, including engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and commercial functions.
4. Trust Ready: The group shows its commitment to employees, stakeholders, and supplier partnerships, aiming to strengthen its dealership network and create long-term competitive advantages.

Platforms & Future Product Strategy
Renault Group currently operates on two key platforms in India. The CMF-A platform underpins models like the Renault Kwid, Renault Triber, and Renault Kiger. The second is the RGMP (Renault Group Modular Platform), which supports the newly launched Renault Duster and the upcoming three-row SUV.
Renault has also unveiled a new architecture called the RGEP (Renault Group Entry Platform). This platform will support ICE and CNG powertrains and accommodate 5-, 6-, and 7-seater configurations. It will also offer multiple transmission options, including AMT and CVT gearboxes.

The RGMP platform is a global architecture tailored for international markets, with 90% localisation for India. It supports vehicles ranging from 3990 mm to 4673 mm in length and can underpin multiple body styles, including SUVs, hatchbacks, and MPVs with various seating layouts.
This platform is designed to support a wide range of powertrains, including ICE, CNG, flex-fuel, hybrid, "Super Hybrid," and fully electric setups. It also accommodates both 2WD and 4WD configurations, including future models such as the upcoming Bridger SUV.

Global Strategy With India At The Core
Renault Group plans to leverage its international presence across India, Latin America, and South Korea to scale operations efficiently, drive growth, and manage risks effectively.
With its "futuREady" strategy, the company aims to deliver consistent value through a disciplined and structured approach, positioning itself strongly for the next phase of global expansion.
