Renault Duster Launched At ₹10.49 Lakh: 5 Variants, R-Pass Benefits Still Available Till March 31st
French carmaker Renault has launched the new-generation Duster in India with prices starting at ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Renault Duster returns in its third-generation avatar with turbo-petrol powertrains and a strong-hybrid option set to arrive later in 2026.
Rivals for the new Renault Duster include the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Toyota Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki's Grand Vitara and Victoris, with the final three also offered with a strong hybrid powertrain.

The Duster is offered in five variant levels: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+ and Iconic. Renault is also offering introductory pricing through its 'R Pass' programme for early buyers, which will remain open till the 31st of March, 2026.

The Duster is available with two turbo-petrol engine options and both manual and automatic transmissions. Prices for the hybrid variant are still not available, and Renault has confirmed that it has already sold out this year's production of the Duster Hybrid.

Renault Duster Launched - Powertrain Options
The Duster is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing around 100hp and 160Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. A larger 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine produces up to 163hp and 280Nm with options of a 6-speed manual and 6-speed DCT automatic.
The Duster with the strong-hybrid powertrain, combining a 1.8-litre petrol engine with electric motors and a 1.4kWh battery, will arrive by Diwali 2026. The hybrid system produces a combined output of around 160hp.
Renault Duster Launched - Design & Features
The Duster adopts a boxy SUV design with upright proportions and high ground clearance. The front features Y-shaped LED lighting elements and a wide grille with Renault branding. The profile includes squared wheel arches, roof rails and large alloy wheels. The rear features LED tail lamps and a sculpted tailgate design.
The Duster's cabin features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital driver display. Equipment includes wireless charging, a 360-degree camera and connected car technology. The Duster also offers a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and connected car features depending on the variant.
