Renault Duster 2026 Variants Ranked - Best Model To Buy
The Duster's re-entry into the compact SUV segment highlights the growing demand and opportunities in this space. With both petrol and hybrid powertrain options, Renault aims to strengthen its presence in the highly competitive and value-focused Indian market.
6. Iconic Launch Edition (Exclusivity)

The Duster was reintroduced with this special edition trim, based on the top variant. Priced at ₹16.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the Iconic Launch Edition is available only with the 1.3L four-cylinder TCe 160 turbo petrol engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT.
It features exclusive elements such as 18-inch Adventure Black alloy wheels, Himalayan-inspired side embellishers, Iconic Yellow door decals, and a signature Duster decal on the roof bar. The rest of the features remain identical to the top-spec variant. As per reports, only 2,026 units will be produced, making it a limited-run model. Buyers looking for exclusivity can opt for this variant.
5. Authentic (Only for Budget Buyers)

This trim is ideal for budget-conscious buyers who want to enter the Duster lineup at a starting price of ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This trim will be available with a 1.0L 3-cylinder TCe turbo petrol engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
It includes basic features such as LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, DRLs, and a 7-inch TFT display. However, it misses out on essentials like rear wipers, a defogger, alloy wheels, and an infotainment system. While affordable, it lacks the premium feel expected from the Duster name.
4. Techno+ (For Mid-Level Buyers)

The Techno+ trim is suited for buyers looking for more features without crossing the ₹15 lakh mark. Priced at ₹14.99 lakh (ex-showroom), it offers a 10.25-inch TFT display, a blind spot warning, front parking sensors, and side parking assist.
It is available with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine, paired with either a manual or DCT gearbox. The trim also offers multiple colour options exclusive to the new Duster. For buyers who want advanced features without spending much, this variant will suit them.
3. Techno (Best Mid-Range Variant)

The Techno variant ranks higher due to its wider engine options. It is available with both the 1.0L 3-cylinder and the 1.3L 4-cylinder turbo petrol engines, along with manual and automatic transmissions.
Priced at ₹13.19 lakh (ex-showroom), it comes equipped with features such as full LED lighting, a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, and connected car technology via the My Renault app. This makes it a strong mid-range option with good flexibility.
2. Evolution (Best Value)

The Evolution trim stands out as the best value-for-money option in the lineup. It builds upon the base variant with features such as a 10.1-inch OpenR Link infotainment system, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED rear light bar, and black roof rails.
It is offered with both the 1.0L and 1.3L turbo petrol engines, along with manual and DCT options. The only drawback is limited colour choices, but overall, it offers a great balance of price and features.
1. Iconic (Best of All)

For the full Duster experience, the Iconic trim is the top choice. It comes loaded with premium features, including a 10.1-inch OpenR Link system with built-in Google, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, and a 360-degree camera.
This trim is available only with the 1.3L turbo petrol engine and is available with both manual and DCT transmissions. With multiple colour options and top-end features, it delivers the complete premium SUV experience.
A Strong Hybrid powertrain is also available with the Renault Duster, which will be available this Diwali 2026. It claims a maximum range of 1000km on a single tank. It will be made available with the top variants of the Duster.
