2026 Renault Duster Mileage (ARAI) Revealed: 18.45 km/l DCT, 17.75 km/l MT
Renault has revealed the ARAI-certified mileage figures for the new Duster, addressing one of the key missing details since its launch. The figures apply to the 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine, which sits at the top of the powertrain lineup.
The Renault Duster's Turbo TCe 160 (1.3-litre turbo petrol) engine delivers 18.45 km/l when paired with the six-speed dual-clutch automatic, while the 6-speed manual version returns 17.75 km/l.

The reveal of the ARAI-certified mileage figures of the Duster come some time after the SUV's launch, with Renault choosing to disclose certified efficiency numbers separately. At present, only the mileage for the Turbo TCe 160 engine has been disclosed. Figures for other engine options in the Duster lineup have not been announced yet.
The Duster's 1.3-litre turbo-petrol unit produces 163 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful engine in its segment. The Reanult Duster is offered with both manual and dual-clutch automatic transmission options.
Renault has positioned the new Duster as a balance between performance and everyday usability. The turbocharged 1.3-litre petrol engine integrates features such as high-pressure fuel injection and low-friction components aimed at improving combustion efficiency and reducing losses. The DCT gearbox is designed to deliver quicker shifts, while the manual version continues to cater to buyers looking for a more traditional driving experience.
Speaking on the development, Dr V Vikraman, Chief of Renault Engineering, Renault Group India said, "The ARAI-certified figures highlight the strength of our technology and our commitment to delivering superior all-round value. New Renault Duster's Turbo 160 engine integrates advanced solutions such as low-friction coatings and high-pressure fuel injection to optimise combustion and efficiency. Paired with Renault's latest DCT automatic transmission, which ensures fast and seamless gear shifts, the powertrain delivers an excellent balance of performance and fuel efficiency while remaining strong and responsive on the road."
The new Renault Duster is priced between ₹10.49 lakh and ₹18.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and the arrival of the new-gen SUV marks the return of the nameplate to India for the first time since 2022.
