Range Rover SV Ultra Launched At Rs 3.8 Crore - First Class Land Yatch

British SUV specialist Land Rover has launched the Range Rover SV Ultra in India at Rs 3.8 crore, ex-showroom. The new flagship variant tops the Range Rover line-up with bespoke exterior and interior finishes.

The SV Ultra was revealed globally earlier this year and now arrives in India with a dedicated twin-turbo V8 engine, a new electrostatic sound system, and a range of colour and trim options exclusive to the variant.

Range Rover SV Ultra: Powertrain

The Range Rover SV Ultra is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo petrol V8 with mild-hybrid assistance, producing 540hp. Drive goes to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

JLR quotes a 0-100km/h time of 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 261kph for the Range Rover SV Ultra. The luxury SUV also gets adaptive suspension, all-wheel steering, and multiple drive and terrain modes as standard.

A fully electric version of the SV Ultra is scheduled to join the line-up later this year. For now, the mild-hybrid V8 is the sole powertrain on offer for the Range Rover SV Ultra in India.

Range Rover SV Ultra: Exterior And Interior Highlights

The Range Rover SV Ultra is finished in an exclusive Titan Silver paint option finished with Satin Platinum Atlas and Silver Chrome trim. These accents cover the wordmarks, grille surround, wheel inserts and skid plates, while 22-inch alloys with inverted R hubcaps are standard (optional 23-inch wheels are also available).

Inside, the Range Rover SV Ultra's cabin gets a new Orchid White and Cinder Grey colour scheme, paired with rattan palm wood veneer and gloss white ceramic trim finishes. Illuminated SV Ultra-branded sill plates round off the bespoke touches.

The centrepiece of the Range Rover SV Ultra's cabin is a new electrostatic sound system built around 21 thin-film speakers mounted in the headrests, seatbacks, headliner and other cabin areas. It works alongside Land Rover's Body and Soul Seat and Sensory Floor haptic systems for a more immersive listening experience.

Elsewhere, the SV Ultra carries over features like a 13.1-inch touchscreen, a 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster and 13.1-inch rear entertainment screens from the SV. Other equipment includes a heated steering wheel, four-zone climate control, a head-up display, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera and a cabin air purifier. All seats get electric adjustment, heating, ventilation, massage and memory functions as standard on the Range Rover SV Ultra.
