Range Rover SV Gets New Dual-Tone Bespoke Paint Options

British SUV manufacturer Land Rover has introduced new Duo-Tone Fade paint finish for the Range Rover SV, offered exclusively through its Bespoke customisation programme. The Duo-Tone finish blends two exterior colours that gradually fade from the roof and bonnet into the body sides and rear.

Four bespoke colour combinations are on offer under the Bespoke program for the Range Rover SV, each paired with a dual-tone interior. Range Rover has not announced pricing for the option.

Range Rover SV Bespoke Paint Options

The four Duo-Tone Fade combinations for the Range Rover SV are called Velvet Depths, Sunstone Lustre, Ashen Amaranthine and Nacre Allure. Velvet Depths pairs Obsidian with Sunrise Copper, while Sunstone Lustre combines Obsidian with Tourmaline Brown. Ashen Amaranthine uses Obsidian with Amethyst, and Nacre Allure pairs Obsidian with British Racing Green.

The four Duo-Tone Fade finish is built up in layers, with the base colour applied first and the second colour blended into it to create the fade effect. Range Rover says the process involves hand preparation and precision application, with each colour combination tested for material compatibility before it reaches production.

Range Rover SV: Engine & Features

The Range Rover SV is the performance-focused version of the Range Rover and is offered with petrol and electric powertrains. The petrol variant uses a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid unit producing 537hp and 750Nm, while the electric version has a claimed range of up to 600km.

Equipment on the SV includes a 13.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 13.7-inch digital driver's display, 13.1-inch rear entertainment screens, a heated steering wheel, powered rear sunblinds, four-zone climate control, a head-up display, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera setup and an air purifier. All seats get electric adjustment along with heating, ventilation, massage and memory functions.
