Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition Launched At Rs 1.90 Crore

British SUV manufacturer Land Rover has launched the Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition in India at Rs 1.90 crore (ex-showroom), a limited-run special edition marking 20 years of the Range Rover Sport since 2005.

The Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition draws inspiration from the original Range Stormer concept shown at the 2004 Detroit auto show, combining elements from the Range Rover Sport Autobiography and SV variants. Deliveries of the Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition are set to begin in October.

Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition: Design & Features

The Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition is offered in Santorini Black and Ostuni Pearl White, along with a bespoke Sanguinello Orange finish inspired by the orange Range Stormer concept and the limited-run Vesuvius Orange First Edition Range Rover Sport from 2005. A Black Exterior Pack is also available, adding a blacked-out roof and ORVM housings for a stealthier look.

Discreet 'TWENTY' lettering features on select exterior surfaces, and the model rides on 23-inch Gloss Sparkle Silver alloy wheels, with Gloss Black wheels offered as an option. Inside, illuminated 'TWENTY EDITION' branding runs across the door sills, while the centre console carries a 'TWENTY' script finished in forged carbon veneer.

A black suede headliner adds to the Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition cabin's dark theme, and the special edition gets Ebony Windsor seats borrowed from the range-topping Range Rover Sport SV. Based on the Autobiography variant, it comes with an electronically activated differential with torque vectoring by braking, all-wheel steering, terrain response programs, active air suspension and a Meridian sound system.

Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition Powertrain

Power comes from a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine assisted by a mild-hybrid system, producing 537hp and 750Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.The Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition can accelerate from 0-100kph in 4.5 seconds.
