635hp Range Rover Sport SV Launched - Nor ₹30 Lakh Cheaper

Land Rover has launched the Range Rover Sport SV in India at Rs 2.05 crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi), marking the first time a pure SV model has entered the Range Rover Sport line-up. Previously, the SV was available only as the limited-run Edition Two. Bookings are open, with deliveries set for August 2026.

The launch price of the bew Range Rover Sport SV reflects the post-India-UK FTA tariff structure, making the Sport SV Rs 30 lakh cheaper than the SV Edition Two. The India-spec car gets an exclusive colour palette and a curated equipment list distinct from the global model.

Range Rover Sport SV - Design & Features

Five bespoke paint options are on offer with the new Range Rover Sport SV: Green in Satin, Orange in Matte, Blue in Gloss, Violet in Matte, and Teal in Gloss. A black contrast roof and 22-inch forged alloy wheels are specific to the India-spec Sport SV.

Exterior detailing on the Range Rover Sport SV includes quad exhaust pipes, a rear spoiler, blacked-out pillars and ORVM housings, front splitter, grille, air intakes, and SV badging throughout.

The cabin of the Range Rover gets Body and Soul Seats trimmed in Light Cloud and Ebony perforated Windsor leather, along with a sliding panoramic roof - both India-specific inclusions. The full extended leather package, illuminated SV door sills, and Meridian Signature Sound System are standard.

Range Rover Sport SV - Engine & Gearbox

The Range Rover Sport SV is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid producing 635bhp and 750Nm of peak torque, which is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Land Rover claims a 0-100kph time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 290km/h.

The SV Mode is part of the chassis package, working alongside the 6D Dynamics suspension. That hydraulically interlinked setup is claimed to virtually eliminate pitch and roll during cornering and braking.
