Skoda To Launch Kodiaq RS In First Week Of July: All 50 Units Sold Out
Skoda Auto India has confirmed that the Skoda Kodiaq RS will launch in the first week of July 2026. The limited allocation of the sportier flagship SUV was sold out within just six minutes of bookings opening.
The Kodiaq is already one of the most powerful SUVs in Skoda's lineup, and the RS version takes things even further by offering more performance, sharper styling, and a higher power output than the standard Kodiaq.
Skoda Kodiaq RS To Launch This July 2026

The Czech carmaker decided to bring only 50 units of its flagship performance SUV to the Indian market. However, due to overwhelming demand and strong buyer interest, all 50 units were sold out in just six minutes. Following this response, Skoda is now set to launch the SUV in early July, when its official pricing will also be announced.
Design
The Skoda Kodiaq RS features a glossy black grille, blacked-out styling elements, sporty alloy wheels, RS badging, and striking red brake calipers. The front bumper has also been redesigned, and with the dual exhaust finishers, the SUV looks noticeably more aggressive and performance-focused.
Interiors

Inside, the Kodiaq RS gets an all-black cabin theme with RS-specific sports seats, leather upholstery, red contrast stitching, aluminium sports pedals, and RS badging on both the seats and steering wheel, further enhancing its sporty appeal.
Engine and Transmission
Powering the Kodiaq RS is a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 265 bhp and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox. It also comes with an all-wheel-drive system as standard, making it the most powerful Kodiaq ever offered.
Features and tech

Feature-wise, the Kodiaq RS comes equipped with a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, a Canton premium sound system, ventilated and massage front seats, three-zone climate control, and ADAS safety features.
Price Expectations
Skoda will announce the official pricing of the Kodiaq RS during its launch, and we expect it to be priced around Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom). The fact that all units were booked even before the price announcement highlights the growing demand for performance-oriented premium SUVs in India.
