Nissan Gravite Reveal Set For 21st January - Here's Everything We Know So Far
Nissan India has confirmed that its all-new Gravite seven-seater MPV will be officially revealed on 21 January 2026, marking the Japanese automaker's entry into the compact MPV segment. The Nissan Gravite will enter showrooms in March.
The Gravite is based on the CMF-A+ platform that also underpins the Renault Triber, sharing core underpinnings and three-row seating architecture, but it will carry distinctive Nissan design cues that differentiate it from its Renault counterpart.

Official teaser images released by Nissan show a revised front fascia featuring a new grille flanked by inverted L-shaped daytime running lights, a sportier bumper, and fresh alloy wheel designs that suggest a more assertive road presence than the Triber. At the rear, the Nissan Gravite is expected to adopt redesigned taillamps and pronounced badging, while roof rails and sculpted surfaces aim to enhance the silhouette's visual width and family-oriented utility.
Nissan has not released full technical specifications, but the Gravite is expected to retain the 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine used in the Triber, offering an estimated 72 hp and 96 Nm of torque, with transmission choices likely to include 5-speed manual and AMT units.
Interior details of the Nissan Gravite have yet to be fully unveiled, though sources suggest the Gravite will offer a flexible seating layout with a removable third row, infotainment connectivity via touchscreen systems, digital instruments and features such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety equipment is expected to include ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring and multiple airbags, while convenience features could include cruise control and climate management systems tuned for family use.
The Gravite will join Nissan's expanded product offensive in India for 2026, complementing models such as the Magnite SUV and larger utility vehicles, and will be positioned as an affordable compact MPV with broad utility for everyday family travel.
Pricing for the Nissan Gravite is anticipated to fall in the ₹6.00-9.00 lakh range (ex-showroom), though Nissan is expected to confirm official figures closer to the March 2026 market launch, following the January reveal.
With the Gravite set to arrive in showrooms by early 2026, Nissan is aiming to capture demand in the sub-4-metre, three-row MPV category, where practical seating and affordability are key considerations for buyers in tier-2 and tier-3 markets.
