Nissan Gravite To Debut On 17 February - All We Know So Far
Japanese carmaker Nissan will debut the all-new Gravite MPV for in India on the 17th of February. Nissan confirmed the new launch timeline for the brand's new seven-seat Gravite MPV through its social channels.
The launch of the all-new Nissan Gravite was earlier scheduled for January but has now been moved to mid-February. Customer deliveries of the Nissan Gravite will begin from March once bookings open, and the Japanese marque is expected to reveal prices for the new MPV at the event on the 17th.
The Nissan Gravite is underpinned by the same platform that is used by the Renault Triber, which enables a sub-four-metre footprint combined with three-row seating and modular packaging suited to urban and family use. This architecture allows Nissan to maintain competitive pricing while offering flexible seating configurations, including removable third-row seats, which remain a key requirement for buyers in the compact MPV category across metro and tier-two markets.
Teaser visuals released ahead of the launch highlight the exterior design, showing a distinct front fascia with horizontally aligned lighting elements, a wide grille treatment, and Gravite badging integrated into the bonnet line.
The rear section features split tail lamps connected by a central insert across the tailgate, with upright proportions intended to maximise interior headroom and cargo flexibility without increasing the vehicle's overall length. At launch, the Gravite will be offered in five exterior colour options comprising teal, white, silver, black and grey, providing multiple choices for customers within the entry MPV segment.
Powertrain duties on the new Nissan Gravite are expected to be handled by a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with both manual and automated manual transmission choices, mirroring the mechanical setup currently used in the Triber. Nissan is not expected to shoehorn the turbocharged version of the engine in the Gravite.

The Nissan Gravite will be positioned against its own Renault-badged sibling, the Triber. Both the Triber and the upcoming Gravite target buyers seeking three-row practicality within a small footprint and price-sensitive bracket.
Additional details covering variant structure, equipment lists and pricing will be announced at the time of debut as the company prepares the model for showroom availability and phased deliveries across dealerships.
