Nissan Ties Up With Avis To Offer Leasing, Subscription Plans For Magnite And Gravite
Japanese carmaker Nissan has partnered with Avis India to introduce leasing and subscription-based ownership for corporate customers. The tie-up covers the Magnite and the upcoming Gravite, with monthly rentals starting at Rs 9,399 (ex-GST, subject to conditions). It's a direct play at the growing corporate mobility segment in India.
Tenure options run up to 60 months, with usage capped at 50,000 km per plan. Both the Magnite and Gravite are available under these structured plans. Businesses get a fixed monthly outgo without the capital commitment of buying vehicles outright.

The starting rental of Rs 9,399 per month positions this as an accessible entry point for small and mid-sized enterprises. Larger fleets can scale usage depending on operational requirements. No upfront purchase cost means companies preserve working capital.
End-to-End Fleet Management
Avis India manages the complete vehicle lifecycle under this partnership - procurement, registration, insurance, maintenance, and end-of-term handling. Corporate customers don't deal with any of the administrative overhead typically associated with fleet ownership. It's a single-vendor, managed solution from day one.

This structure gives finance teams predictable monthly costs with no surprise expenditure mid-contract. Fleet managers also avoid the complexity of depreciation accounting on owned assets. For companies already running asset-light models, it fits naturally into existing operations.
Why The Magnite and Gravite?
The Magnite is Nissan's established volume driver in India, a compact SUV with proven fleet demand. Pairing it with the Gravite, which just recently went on sale, gives Nissan an opportunity to seed corporate awareness for the new model early. Fleet visibility often translates to retail interest down the line.
Corporate leasing demand has been rising steadily as Indian companies shift away from owned-asset models. Nissan is positioning itself to capture a larger share of that transition, using Avis's fleet management infrastructure to execute the backend operations at scale.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said, "This partnership reinforces Nissan's long-term commitment to the Indian market through strategic, customer-centric initiatives that deliver greater value by expanding accessible and flexible mobility solutions. By collaborating with Avis India, we are enabling a seamless leasing ecosystem that complements our product portfolio and supports the evolving needs of corporate customers seeking efficient, scalable, and asset-light mobility solutions."
Aman Naagar, Managing Director, Avis India, added, "This partnership is an opportunity for us at Avis India to strengthen our relationships with key manufacturers and deepen our operational capabilities. It is aligned with our focus on building and providing scalable and structured platforms for enterprise clients."
