New-Gen Hyundai i20 Launched In Brazil - K3 Platform, Dual Screens & ADAS
Hyundai has launched the fourth-generation i20 in Brazil on the new K3 modular platform, bringing redesigned bodywork, a dual-screen interior and a full ADAS suite. Priced from BRL 99,990 (Rs 18.77 lakh), it slots between the HB20 and Creta in Hyundai's Brazil lineup.
The new i20 does not replace the HB20 but targets buyers seeking a more premium presence and richer tech. OTA software updates are offered on the i20 for the first time on any Hyundai model sold in Brazil.

New Hyundai i20 - Exterior Design
The fourth-gen Hyundai i20 measures 4,130mm in length and 1,780mm in width, with a 2,580mm wheelbase. H-styled LED DRLs, a full-width light bar and rectangular headlamps define the front fascia. The hexagonal grille carries sharper corners and revised detailing over the outgoing design.

A sharply rising window line flows toward the roof at the rear, reducing the rounded appearance of the earlier model. Circular wheel arches, prominent body cladding and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels feature on the sides. Connected edgy tail lamps complete the rear end.
New Hyundai i20 - Interior and Features

The cabin gets dual 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster. Connectivity is handled by an embedded 5G chip, with OTA update support. The steering wheel carries Hyundai's quad dot logo and features paddle shifters and mounted controls.
Bluelink connectivity, front and rear USB chargers and an emergency SOS button are standard. The hatchback also gets a wireless phone charger, electronic parking brake and physical air-conditioning controls. Boot space is rated at 346 litres.

New Hyundai i20 - Safety
Hyundai SmartSense delivers a full ADAS package covering blind spot collision avoidance assist, forward collision avoidance assist, and lane keeping and lane following assist. Leading vehicle departure alert and intelligent speed limit assist are also included.

Passive safety is anchored by six airbags as standard. Electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill start assist control and a tyre pressure monitoring system are fitted across the range.
The new i20 rides on Hyundai's third-generation K3 modular architecture, which uses a higher proportion of high-strength steel for improved structural rigidity and crash protection. The platform also supports turbocharged and hybrid powertrains, positioning the i20 for multiple global markets.

New Hyundai i20 - Engine & Gearbox
Brazil's i20 is powered by a 1.0-litre TGDI flex three-cylinder engine with direct injection, producing 115hp and 172Nm of torque. A 6-speed automatic gearbox is standard; the Limited variant also offers a 6-speed manual option. Hyundai rates the new i20 at a top speed of 184 km/h. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is clocked at 11.7 seconds.
