Locally Assembled Mini Countryman C Launched At Rs 47.5 Lakh
The Mini Countryman C has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 47.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The premium crossover is now being locally assembled at BMW Group's Chennai facility, making it significantly more affordable than the fully imported Countryman JCW All4 that is priced at Rs 64.9 lakh.
Local assembly marks the return of the Countryman to BMW India's CKD portfolio and helps Mini position the model more competitively in the luxury compact SUV segment. The new Countryman C sits below the performance-focused JCW variant and targets buyers looking for a premium urban crossover with Mini's distinctive styling.

Mini Countryman C - Engine, Performance & Transmission
Power comes from a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The engine produces 154hp and 230Nm of torque, with power sent to the front wheels.
Mini claims the Countryman C can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 8.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 212km/h. The smaller turbocharged engine helps deliver a balance between performance and efficiency while reducing the entry price into the Countryman range.

Mini Countryman C - Design & Exterior Highlights
The Countryman C retains the latest-generation design language introduced globally. It features a large octagonal grille, squared-off proportions, flush-style surfaces and signature LED lighting elements that give the SUV a more mature appearance than its predecessor.
Buyers can choose from five exterior paint finishes including Chilli Red, British Racing Green, Nanuq White, Slate Blue and Smokey Green. The SUV also gets body-coloured door handles, black roof elements, black mirror caps and distinctive alloy wheels.
Mini Countryman C - Interior & Features
Inside, the cabin is centred around Mini's signature circular OLED touchscreen that combines infotainment and vehicle controls into a single display. The dashboard follows a minimalist design approach while retaining the brand's retro-inspired character.
Feature highlights include connected car technology, wireless smartphone integration, ambient lighting, premium upholstery, dual-zone climate control, multiple drive modes and a digital interface powered by Mini Operating System 9.
Mini Countryman C - Dimensions & Practicality
The latest Countryman is larger than the model it replaces, offering increased cabin space and improved practicality. The SUV measures over 4.4 metres in length and benefits from a longer wheelbase that improves rear-seat accommodation and luggage capacity.
The increased dimensions allow the Countryman C to serve as a practical family vehicle while retaining Mini's distinctive design identity. The larger footprint also enhances its road presence in the luxury SUV segment.
