Mini Cooper S Victory Edition Launched At ₹57.5 Lakh – 204hp Hot Hatch With Rally Heritage

The Mini Cooper S Victory Edition has been launched in India at a starting price of ₹57.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition hatchback pays tribute to Mini's iconic 1965 Monte Carlo Rally-winning car and features several exclusive design elements.

The Cooper S Victory Edition will be brought to India in limited numbers via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route. It features distinctive exterior and interior highlights, including a Chilli Red paint finish with '52' number decals, racing stripes, white and black roof options, sporty bumpers and grille design, along with blacked-out badging and logos.

The racing stripes extend from the front bonnet all the way to the rear tailgate. Additional exterior highlights include a twin-ridge roof spoiler, 18-inch alloy wheels, a centrally mounted exhaust, and the John Cooper Works (JCW) badge, enhancing its sporty appeal.

Engine and Transmission

Powering the hatchback is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and features a front-wheel-drive (FWD) layout. The car can achieve a top speed of up to 242 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds.

Interiors

On the inside, the cabin features a blacked-out theme with upholstery and decals that pay tribute to Timo Mäkinen and co-driver Paul Easter, winners of the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. The cabin also features exclusive '1965 Victory Edition' branding elements.

The steering wheel features a red and white theme inspired by the exterior design. The fabric upholstery is made from recycled materials, and the car features a 9.45-inch circular OLED display that integrates both the instrument cluster and infotainment system.
