Mini Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack Launched At ₹61.50 Lakh

British carmaker Mini has launched the Cooper S Convertible John Cooper Works (JCW) Pack in India at ₹ 61.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Based on the Cooper S Convertible and sold as a full import in limited numbers, bookings for the JCW Pack had opened on April 14 and deliveries are already underway.

At ₹61.50 lakh, the Mini Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack costs ₹5.85 lakh more than the Cooper S Hatchback JCW Pack, which is priced at ₹ 55.65 lakh. It's currently the second JCW Pack variant in Mini's India lineup.

The Mini Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack is based on the Cooper S Convertible (and costs ₹2.50 lakh more) and brings a few cosmetic changes to the open-top version of the iconic British hatchback. However, the JCW Pack does not bring any mechanical changes over the "regular" Mini Cooper S Convertible.

Mini Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack - Design & Features

The Mini Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack brings cosmetic changes only, with no mechanical updates over the standard Cooper S Convertible. Gloss-black finish is applied across the front grille, ORVMs, door handles, wheel arches, side skirts, and bumpers, while a jet-black fabric roof completes the look.

Two exclusive paint options are offered with the Mini Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack: Midnight Black and Legend Grey. The latter also gets bonnet stripes. New 17-inch JCW alloys in black and JCW Sport brakes round off the exterior package.

Inside, the blacked-out treatment carries through to the seat upholstery and dashboard trim. JCW-branded sports seats and a JCW-specific steering wheel are fitted, though the feature list stays identical to the standard Cooper S Convertible.

Red accents on the front headrests and dashboard and for the seat stitching add contrast to the dark cabin. Standard equipment includes a 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, head-up display, wireless charging, and a Harman Kardon audio system.

Mini Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack - Engine and Gearbox

Under the bonnet of the Mini Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack sits a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol making 204hp and 300Nm, driving the front wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Mini claims the Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack can do the 0-100kmh sprint in 6.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 237kph. The Cooper S Convertible JCW Pack delivers a fuel efficiency of 16.82km/l.
