The MG Windsor Was India's Bestselling EV Of 2025
MG Motor India's Windsor electric crossover recorded significant sales performance in calendar year 2025, ending the period with total volumes that made it the highest-selling EV in the Indian passenger vehicle market.
The MG Windsor's annual wholesale sales in 2025 reached 75,397 units, according to the company's reported figures, establishing the model as a strong contender in the crossover category against competitors in its price bracket.
Compared with the previous calendar year, the MG Windsor's 2025 result positioned it within the top crossover vehicles, with volumes that reflected continued customer demand and retail acceptance across key urban and regional markets.
MG Motor India highlighted that the Windsor's balance of design, features and technology contributed to its sales momentum, attracting buyers seeking a premium hatch offering with broad equipment levels and connected technologies.
The Windsor's sales tally in 2025 came alongside MG's broader product lineup performance, with the brand also managing distribution and retail support for models such as the Astor and Hector as part of its nationwide passenger vehicle portfolio.
MG Motor India said that the Windsor EV's performance in 2025 bolstered its presence in the competitive hatchback segment, where buyers increasingly valued compact dimensions coupled with advanced features and perceived value.
