MG Majestor Flagship SUV Teased: India Launch Set for Feb 12, 2026
JSW-MG Motor has teased the Majestor SUV on its official social media channels, confirming the SUV's arrival in the Indian market. This upcoming model will be the brand's flagship ICE SUV and is set to take on the segment leader, the Toyota Fortuner. MG claims the Majestor will be the tallest, longest, and widest SUV in India, with its launch scheduled for February 12, 2026.
JSW-MG Motor is positioning the Majestor as a D+ segment SUV, which will sit above the MG Gloster in the brand's lineup. Thanks to its massive size and length, the Majestor is expected to offer class-leading cabin space and road presence, surpassing many premium SUVs currently sold in the Indian market.
MG Majestor SUV Teased
The latest teaser showcases the Majestor's front fascia, which features MG's signature chrome-finished Matrix grille, along with Falcon-style LED DRLs paired with split headlamp units. These design elements give the SUV a rugged and aggressive stance. Overall, the Majestor appears far more dominating and appealing when compared to its rivals.

In addition to its massive exterior dimensions, the MG Majestor is expected to feature large alloy wheels, redesigned connected LED tail-lamps, thick body cladding, chunky bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets, further enhancing its premium and rugged appeal.
On the inside, the Majestor is likely to offer a cabin similar to the Gloster, featuring a large touchscreen infotainment system, premium upholstery, powered and ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, advanced connectivity features, and a Level 2 ADAS safety suite.

The Majestor is likely to share its powertrain options with the MG Gloster. This includes a 2.0-litre diesel engine with RWD and a more powerful 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine with 4WD. Both engines are expected to be paired exclusively with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Considering its positioning and features, the MG Majestor is expected to be priced between ₹45 lakh and ₹55 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will compete with rivals such as the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, and the Volkswagen Tayron.
