MG Majestor Revealed: Bookings Open For ₹41k, Launch In April
JSW MG Motor India has unveiled the India-spec MG Majestor SUV. The all-new D-Segment MG Majestor SUV is positioned above the MG Gloster in the company's lineup and will be launched in April.
Bookings for the all-new MG Majestor are now open nationwide for a ₹41,000 token amount.
The MG Majestor is offered in 3 variant levels for India - Sharp 4x2, Savvy 4x2, and Savvy 4x4. While the Sharp 4x2 and Sharp 4x4 variants of the new MG Majestor are strictly offered as seven seaters, the Savvy 4x2 comes in both six and seven seater guises.

MG Majestor - Design & Features
The MG Majestor features a brutish front design with a large grille finished in a block pattern. Vertically stacked headlamp units sit on either side of the grille, while LED daytime running lights are integrated within the lighting assembly.
The Majestor's front bumper uses a squared profile with contrasting lower trim and skid-plate detailing. The side profile features a straight beltline and heavily cladded wheel arches. Other highlights include Large alloy wheels and functional roof rails.

At the rear, the MG Majestor gets connected LED tail lamps spanning the width of the tailgate. The bumper integrates dual exhaust outlets and a silver skid plate. Majestor badging is positioned centrally on the tailgate. The MG Majestor is offered the following colour options - Metal Black, Pearl White, Concrete Grey and Metal Ash.
Inside, the MG Majestor is offered in both six-seat and seven-seat configurations. The dashboard features a large touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster. Controls are arranged across a wide centre console with dedicated buttons for primary functions.

The feature list on the Majestor includes three-zone climate control, ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof. A 12-speaker JBL sound system, ambient lighting and a 360-degree camera are also part of the Majestor's equipment package.
MG Majestor - Powertrain
The MG Majestor is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine taken from the Stellantis group (Fiat) that also poweres higher trim levels of the Gloster. This diesel engine produces 213bhp and 478Nm of torque in the Majestor and is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to either the rear wheels (4x2) or all four wheels (4x4).

The MG Majestor also features three differential locks and a dedicated low-speed transfer case for the 4x4 variant. The Majestor also features the M-Hub software suite that allows for 10 different driving modes.
MG Majestor - Safety & Equipment
The MG Majestor is equipped with Level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) which includes features like blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, collision detection, auto-emergency braking, and lane-departure warning with lane-departure preventionamong others.

Other safety features on the MG Majestor include 6 airbags and electronic stability control, hill-hold assist and hill-descent control, along with ISOFIX anchorages and surround-view cameras.
