Mercedes-Benz GLE, GLS Night Edition Launched: Prices Start At ₹1.05 Crore

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the Night Edition variants of its GLE and GLS luxury SUVs, expanding its limited-series portfolio in the country. Part of a global limited-run programme with restricted unit availability, the Night Editions arrive in configurations not replicated on any standard variant of either model.

Prices open at Rs 1.05 crore for the GLE 300d 4MATIC Night Edition and climb to Rs 1.43 crore for the GLS 450d 4MATIC Night Edition, all ex-showroom, India. Both variants carry a premium over their respective standard counterparts in the Mercedes-Benz India lineup.

The GLE Night Edition 300d is priced Rs 5 lakh above the standard GLE 300d, while the GLE Night Edition 450 carries a Rs 2.50 lakh premium over the standard GLE 450 trim. On the GLS side, the Night Edition 450 4MATIC asks Rs 1.30 lakh more than the GLS 450 AMG Line.

The GLS Night Edition 450d 4MATIC is priced Rs 5.50 lakh above the standard GLS 450d AMG Line. All four Night Edition variants are offered in limited volumes as part of a global restricted-run programme.

Mercedes Benz GLE & GLS Night Edition - Design & Features

Both the GLE and GLS Night Editions receive a darkened exterior treatment across their body elements. The SUVs are offered in two colours: Obsidian Black and Alpine Grey, with Alpine Grey exclusive to the Night Edition series and unavailable on any standard GLE or GLS variant.

Inside, both SUVs get black Nappa leather upholstery and Anthracite open-pore oak wood trim, configurations unique to the Night Edition and absent from the standard models. A Head-Up Display is fitted as standard across all Night Edition variants of both the GLE and GLS.

The GLE Night Edition gains AIRMATIC suspension as an additional feature over the standard GLE model. This fitment is specific to the GLE Night Edition and is not part of the standard GLE specification.
