Mercedes-Benz Unveils All-New Electric C-Class With Up To 762km Range
Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off the all-new electric C-Class - the first time the nameplate has gone fully electric. It sits on a dedicated EV platform and brings a significant step up in technology compared to what the brand has offered before in this segment.
The headline number for the new C-Class EV is a claimed WLTP range of up to 762km, drawn from a 94kWh usable battery pack running on an 800V electrical system. DC fast charging is supported at up to 330kW, and Mercedes says you can add around 325km of range in 10 minutes under WLTP conditions.

The performance-focused C 400 4MATIC makes 360kW and does 0-100kph in 4.0 seconds. A two-speed transmission on the rear axle helps manage the balance between outright acceleration and long-distance efficiency.
On the practical side, boot space is 470 litres for the C-Class EV with an extra 101-litre frunk, and towing capacity is up to 1.8 tonnes. Optional rear-axle steering cuts the turning circle to 11.2 metres, and air suspension with adaptive damping is also on the options list.

The design of the new C-Class EV follows Mercedes' current EV direction. The new Mercedes C-Class EV features a coupe-like roofline, fastback rear, illuminated front grille, and star-shaped LED DRLs, bringing it in line with the S-Class, CLA, EQS, and GLC EV. The C-Class EV boasts a drag coefficient from 0.22 keeps the aerodynamics in check.
Inside, a 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen dominates the dashboard of the Mercedes C-Class EV. The system runs on MB.OS with OTA updates, an AI-based voice assistant, and navigation that accounts for charging stops.

Standard kit for the Mercedes Benz C-Class EV includes a panoramic roof, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control, and electrically adjustable seats with massage and ventilation functions.
Mercedes will launch the electric C-Class in the US first. Other markets, including India, haven't been confirmed yet."The all-new electric C‑Class is redefining the mid-size segment for electric vehicles. Customers will get exactly what they expect from this new version of the beloved model: the perfect blend of performance, comfort, dynamics, and intelligence. On top of that, it is the most powerful and sportiest C‑Class we've ever built, offering pure driving pleasure and outstanding real-world range - all while being the perfect sanctuary for our customer."
