The British supercar maker has announced that only 10 units of the special Artura hybrid supercar will be produced and sold to customers worldwide. The exclusive model was unveiled at the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix, one of the most iconic and historic venues in motorsport.
Hybrid Powertrain

This high-performance supercar has been engineered using technology inspired by McLaren's Formula 1 expertise. It is built around the company's lightweight carbon-fibre architecture and is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 hybrid powertrain paired with an 8-speed Seamless Shift Gearbox featuring E-Reverse. The powertrain delivers an impressive 700PS of power and 720Nm of combined torque.
The engine is supported by an electric motor that produces 95PS and 225Nm of torque. Despite weighing just 1,395kg, the Artura can achieve a top speed of 330km/h. It is also one of the lightest plug-in hybrid supercars in its class and features an exceptionally low centre of gravity for enhanced performance.
Superior Aerodynamic Efficiency

McLaren has further optimised the car with advanced aerodynamic technologies, including hidden door inlet ducts and a rear airflow channel designed to improve mechanical grip, stability, and driver confidence at high speeds.
The sculpted bodywork has been engineered to manage airflow efficiently while contributing to the car's low centre of gravity. Combined with McLaren's advanced carbon-fibre construction, the design delivers exceptional precision, agility, and aerodynamic performance.
Ultimate Comfort and Safety

Inside, the Artura offers a premium cabin experience focused on usability, comfort, and driver engagement. It features McLaren's exclusive Clubsport seats, designed to provide optimal support and seating position. The cabin also includes twin HD displays with high-resolution graphics, natural voice control, emergency call functionality, and smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay.
For safety and performance, the Artura comes equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes (390mm front and 380mm rear), ABS, traction control, electronic stability control, launch control, hill-hold assist, and advanced driver assistance systems.
The supercar also offers three handling modes - Comfort, Sport, and Track - along with proactive damping control that can adapt to changing road conditions in as little as two milliseconds. An electronic differential further enhances traction and cornering performance, while the ESC settings can be adjusted through the infotainment system for a more personalised driving experience.
Celebrating McLaren's F1 Legacy
McLaren is one of the most successful teams in Formula 1 history and the current Constructors' Champion. With multiple drivers' and constructors' titles and 203 Grand Prix victories, the brand continues to be a symbol of motorsport excellence. The limited-edition Artura 1000 GP is expected to attract strong demand from collectors, while also celebrating McLaren's rich Formula 1 heritage and its 1,000th Grand Prix milestone.
