Maruti Suzuki July 2026 Sales Report: Domestic Numbers Hit All-Time High
Maruti Suzuki, the nation's largest carmaker, had a July to remember, with sales touching an all-time high. Maruti's total sales last month including exports stood at 2,41,421 units, up 33.73 percent year-on-year. Domestic sales including LCVs stood at 2,00,123 units, the best-ever figure for a single month.
Domestic passenger vehicle sales, excluding LCVs, rose 42.41 percent YoY to 1,96,203 units compared to the 1,37,776 units sold in July 2025. Compared to June 2026, domestic passenger vehicle sales increased 33.30 percent month-over-month, rising from 1,47,187 units to 1,96,203 units. Including the Super Carry LCV, total domestic sales grew 42.37 percent YoY over the 1,40,570 units sold over the same period a year earlier.

Passenger car sales, which includes Maruti's Mini, Compact and Mid-size segment vehicles, rose to 1,03,456 units from the 72,662 units sold a year earlier. Utility vehicles (Brezza, Ertiga, eVitara, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris and XL6) remained the bigger growth driver in July for Maruti Suzuki, climbing to 78,851 units from 52,773 units, an increase of more than 26,000 units.
Maruti Suzuki's sole van offering, the Eeco, saw its sales increase to 13,896 units from the 12,341 units units sold in July 2025. Sales of the Super Carry light commercial vehicle rose to 3,920 units compared to the 2,794 units sold in July last year.

Sales to other OEMs, ie: Toyota, grew 36.91 percent YoY to 11,242 units last month, up from the 8,211 units sold a year earlier. The only segment in the red for Maruti last month was Exports, with volumes declining 5.32 percent YoY to 30,056 units, against the 31,745 units shipped to other countries in July 2025.
FY27 Sales Performance
Maruti Suzuki's FY27 sales for the April-July period have reached 9,24,145 units, a 30.46 percent increase over the 7,08,387 units sold in the same stretch of FY26. Domestic passenger vehicle sales for the four months rose 35.77 percent YoY to 7,21,431 units.Exports for FY27 grew 20.26 percent YoY to 1,54,792 units, while Super Carry LCV sales increased 19.42 percent to 13,499 units. Sales to other OEMs stood at 34,423 units, slightly down from the 37,018 units sold in the corresponding period last year.
