Maruti Suzuki Hikes Car Prices By Up To Rs 30,000
India's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki raised car prices across its Arena and Nexa lineup this month, the second price hike this year after a similar revision in June. The price hike by Maruti Suzuki varies by model and variant, ranging from Rs 2,500 to Rs 30,000 across the portfolio.
Rising input costs are the reason given for the latest revision in prices by Maruti Suzuki, similar to previous increases. Maruti Suzuki has worked to contain costs elsewhere, but a portion of the increase is now being passed on to buyers.

Maruti Car Price Hike: Arena Range
Entry-level models such as the Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio and WagonR have gone up by up to Rs 2,500. The Super Carry mini truck has also seen the same Rs 2,500 increase in its prices. The Swift hatchback has also seen a hike in prices and is now up to Rs 5,000 more expensive, while the Dzire and Tour S sub 4-metre sedans now cost Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 more than their previous list prices.
Maruti's small cars are seeing strong demand and have been identified as a key growth driver over the next five years. The company is counting on this segment to help it hit an annual sales target of 3 million units.
Maruti Suzuki's Eeco van now costs up to Rs 5,000 while ex-showroom prices for the Ertiga MPV have been hiked by Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,500. The Brezza, Maruti's bestselling SUV, has seen a comparatively smaller increase of up to Rs 5,000. Maruti recently launched the Brezza facelift priced between Rs 7.40 lakh and Rs 13.71 lakh.
Among all Maruti Suzuki models sold through its Arena platform, the Victoris carries the steepest hike at up to Rs 10,000 depending on variant. The Victoris is a Grand Vitara derivative sold through Arena outlets to help Maruti widen its large SUV platform's reach beyond Nexa showrooms.
Nexa Range Prices Also Revised
The Baleno has seen the largest hike in prices among Maruti's cars sold through its premium Nexa platform, with prices up by as much as Rs 30,000. Maruti is preparing a Baleno facelift, due to launch on September 5, 2026. The Fronx, which is based on the Baleno's platform has seen its prices rise by Rs 7,500.
The Grand Vitara SUV sees the smallest increase in prices at Nexa dealerships with prices by up to Rs 5,000, while the XL6 MPV has seen its prices rise by between Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,500.
Maruti Suzuki's lifestyle SUV, the Jimny has seen its prices rise by up to Rs 15,000 while the eVitara electric SUV has seen the second-highest hike in the Nexa lineup at up to Rs 20,000. The Invicto premium MPV rounds off the list with an increase of up to Rs 10,000.
