India’s Best-Selling Van Gets A Stylish Upgrade – New Maruti Suzuki Eeco Star Edition Launched

Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new Star Edition accessory package for the highly popular Maruti Suzuki Eeco in India. The special accessory bundle is available for both petrol and CNG variants of the van and can be opted with the standard model lineup.

With this update, Maruti Suzuki aims to further enhance the appeal of India's best-selling van by offering a more premium appearance and improved cabin experience at an affordable price point.

New Maruti Suzuki Eeco Star Edition

The Maruti Suzuki Eeco continues to remain one of the country's most practical and value-focused people movers, appealing to both private buyers and commercial users. The new Star Edition package adds a range of cosmetic and convenience-focused upgrades designed to make the van look more stylish while improving the overall ownership experience.

According to the company, the new package includes 18 exclusive accessories covering both exterior and interior enhancements. While the accessory package is valued at around ₹37,000, Maruti Suzuki is currently offering it at a special price of ₹19,999, making it considerably more accessible for buyers. The package is available for both passenger and cargo configurations of the Eeco.

On the exterior, the Star Edition receives several styling additions including a rear spoiler, fog lamps with garnish, wheel covers, door visors, mud flap set, and Eeco chrome badging. Buyers will also get body-coloured bumpers finished in Metallic Glistening Grey and Metallic Brisk Blue themes, giving the van a fresher and more premium visual appearance compared to the standard model.

Inside the cabin, the Eeco Star Edition features a revised interior styling kit along with newly designed seat covers aimed at improving the overall cabin ambience. These additions are intended to make the utilitarian MPV feel slightly more premium while retaining its practicality and spaciousness.

Apart from the cosmetic upgrades, the Eeco continues to offer several functional and safety features. Key highlights include an air conditioner with heater, 3-point ELR seatbelts, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and six airbags as standard across the lineup.

Powering the Eeco is a 1.2-litre petrol engine available with both petrol and factory-fitted CNG options. The petrol version produces 60.5 kW of power and 105.5 Nm of torque, while the CNG variant develops 52.7 kW and 95 Nm. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki claims a fuel efficiency figure of 19.71 km/l for the petrol model and 26.78 km/kg for the CNG variant. The standard Eeco range starts at ₹5.21 lakh (ex-showroom), while the CNG variant is priced from ₹6.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
