According to Moneycontrol's report, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire crossed the 2 lakh unit sales mark in 2025, beating India's best-selling SUV, the Hyundai Creta, by a small margin. A major reason behind these strong sales numbers was the GST price cut, which encouraged many new buyers to purchase cars during the festive season.

The number of value offerings of the newer-generation Dzire also helped that brand to achieve this sales milestone. The latest model gets a refreshed design, a stronger body structure, and several new features. The new-gen Dzire also received a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test and continues to remain the most popular taxi car in India.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is powered by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder Z-Series Dual Jet Dual VVT petrol engine that produces 81.58 PS of power at 5700 rpm and 111.7 Nm of torque at 4300 rpm. It is available with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.

Some of the key features of the Dzire include an electric sunroof, full LED lighting with DRLs, SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with ARKAMYS-powered surround sound, automatic climate control, wireless charger, rear AC vents, dual-tone interiors, keyless entry, next-gen Suzuki Connect, 360-degree camera, cruise control, TPMS, six airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESP with hill-hold assist.
