Mahindra Sales Rise By 28% In December - 333,366 Units Sold In 2025

Mahindra & Mahindra recorded a 28 per cent year-on-year increase in total wholesale sales during December 2025, dispatching 45,151 vehicles compared with 35,189 units in December 2024, supported by strong demand across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and tractors.

Passenger vehicle sales in December 2025 stood at 41,424 units, registering a 31 per cent increase over the 31,662 units sold in the same month last year, with SUVs continuing to dominate Mahindra's domestic retail and wholesale performance.

SUV models including the XUV700, Scorpio-N, Bolero Neo and XUV300 contributed significantly to December volumes, with consistent demand across urban, semi-urban and rural markets supporting the company's passenger vehicle dispatch numbers.

For the full calendar year 2025, Mahindra reported total wholesale volumes of 359,152 units, marking a 6 per cent increase over the 338,419 units recorded during calendar year 2024 across all business segments.

Passenger vehicle sales for the full year reached 333,366 units, reflecting steady growth driven by continued preference for SUVs, improved model availability and sustained demand across multiple price bands within the domestic passenger vehicle market.

Mahindra's commercial vehicle segment recorded 1,763 units in December 2025, compared with 1,626 units in December 2024, registering a modest year-on-year increase supported by steady movement in light commercial vehicle categories.

For the calendar year 2025, commercial vehicle sales stood at 20,255 units, slightly lower than the 22,867 units recorded in 2024, reflecting softer demand conditions in certain freight and logistics applications.

The company's tractor business reported December 2025 sales of 34,934 units, up from 24,603 units in December 2024, supported by improved rural sentiment, better reservoir levels and seasonal agricultural demand. For the full year, tractor sales reached 345,653 units, compared with 331,123 units in calendar year 2024, contributing positively to Mahindra's overall volume performance during 2025.

Mahindra's exports in December 2025 stood at 1,964 units, higher than the 1,901 units shipped during the same month in 2024, reflecting stable demand in select international markets. Total exports for the calendar year 2025 were reported at 27,531 units, compared with 26,153 units in 2024, contributing incrementally to overall volumes across Mahindra's global operations.
