Mahindra Sales Hit 99,969 Units in March – SUVs Drive Record Growth

Mahindra concluded the financial year with total sales of 6,60,276 SUVs and 2,89,597 light commercial vehicles (LCVs). Both segments registered strong year-on-year growth of 20% and 13%, respectively. In the utility vehicle segment, the brand sold 60,271 units domestically, while total sales stood at 62,109 units, including exports.

In the passenger vehicle segment, Mahindra posted total domestic sales of 60,272 units in March 2026, compared to 48,048 units during the same period last year, registering a 25% YoY growth. For the full financial year, the company sold 6,60,276 units domestically, compared to 5,51,487 units last year, marking a 20% growth.

In terms of exports, Mahindra shipped 3,968 units in March, compared to 4,143 units last year, reflecting a slight 4% decline. However, for the full financial year, exports grew by 18%, reaching 40,990 units.

Mahindra is already one of the leaders in the EV segment with their Born electric vehicles such as the BE 06, XEV 9e and the newly launched 7 seater the XEV 9s. All these vehicles comes with cutting edge battery technology and advanced safety features making them ideal choice for new EV buyers.

In the SUV segment, Mahindra is already having a significant market share as they are selling only SUV cars in their lineup. In the Sub 4 meter SUV Segment they sell the XUV 3XO, in the large SUV category they sell the XUV 7XO, the Scorpio series, Bolero series and the Thar series which includes both the three doors and five door versions.
