Mahindra Electric SUVs Hit 50K Sales Milestone In Record Time
Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs have crossed 50,000 unit sales in India, achieving this massive milestone in just one year since their launch. The company sells its Born Electric Range in the Indian market, that is witnessing a strong sales momentum.

India's Mahindra is one of the leading players in the EV segment, alongside Tata Motors and JSW MG Motor India. Among them, Mahindra stands out with its Born Electric SUV lineup, including the BE 06, XEV 9e, and the 7-seater XEV 9s.
The company has announced that its e-SUV owners have formed one of India's fastest-growing EV communities in a short period. The entry-level BE 06 has been particularly popular among buyers, as it offers advanced technology, premium convenience features, and world-class safety at a more accessible price range.
Mahindra also introduced a Batman Edition of the BE 06 in collaboration with Warner Bros. This special edition was inspired by Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy and featured exclusive Batman-themed decals on both the exterior and interior.
This limited edition model was sold out within minutes of opening the bookings. Recently, the brand also introduced a Formula E Edition, inspired by the Mahindra Formula E Racing Team. Additionally, the XEV 9e caters to performance-focused buyers, while the Cine Luxe edition targets those seeking a more premium and luxurious experience, featuring unique styling and black leatherette interiors.
The lineup also includes the XEV 9s, a premium yet affordable 7-seater SUV. It comes equipped with a triple-screen display, flexible seating, Boss Mode, a spacious cabin, sliding second-row seats, and Level 2 ADAS for enhanced safety, along with several convenience features.
All these SUVs are powered by battery packs ranging from 59 kWh to 79 kWh. In terms of pricing, the BE 06 starts at ₹18.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the XEV 9e starts at ₹21.90 lakh (ex-showroom), and the XEV 9s starts at ₹19.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
