Kia Syros HTK(EX) Launched At ₹9.89 Lakh - Sunroof, LED Lighting & More Features
South Korean carmaker Kia has expanded the Syros line-up with the introduction of a new HTK(EX) variant, positioned as a value-focused trim aimed at offering additional features at a lower entry point. The Kia Syros HTK(EX) variant has been launched at ₹9.89 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol version, while the diesel-powered HTK(EX) is priced at ₹10.63 lakh (ex-showroom).
With the addition of the HTK(EX) trim, the Kia Syros range now spans seven variants, strengthening Kia's presence in the compact SUV segment. The HTK(EX) variant is positioned above the HTK(O) and is designed to bridge the gap between lower and mid-level trims by adding comfort, convenience and styling upgrades without a significant price jump.

The Kia Syros HTK(EX) receives several exterior enhancements. These include LED DRLs, LED headlamps and LED tail-lamps, along with R16 alloy wheels, giving the compact SUV a more premium appearance compared to the lower trims.
Inside the cabin, the HTK(EX) variant adds multiple feature upgrades over the standard HTK(O). Key additions include an electric sunroof, streamlined interior door handles, a 31.2cm (12.3-inch) touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, and a rear parking camera with sensors, improving overall usability and convenience for daily driving.
On the safety front, the Kia Syros HTK(EX) comes equipped with a comprehensive safety package. This includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, and Hill Start Assist, contributing to a total of over 20 standard safety features offered on the SUV.
Commenting on the introduction of the new variant, Atul Sood, Sr. VP and National Head, Sales and Marketing, Kia India, said:
"At Kia, customer insights guide every product decision we make. The introduction of the HTK(EX) trim for Syros reflects our constant focus on responding to customer feedback and delivering meaningful value. By expanding the lineup at an attractive price point, we aim to make our SUV more accessible while continuing to offer the features and quality that customers expect from Kia."
