Kia Seltos Introduces Vibro Sound Seats With 4D Audio Experience – Will Indian Buyers Get It?
The new Kia Seltos gets a Vibro Sound feature that creates vibrations under the seats, delivering an immersive 4D sound experience for passengers. This feature is currently available in its home market, South Korea, and could make its way to the Indian market in the future.
New Gen Kia Seltos SUV Gets 4D Music Seats
Kia has introduced the updated Seltos in South Korea with an advanced Vibro Sound seat system that enhances the in-cabin experience to a new level. This system delivers a 4D experience for front-row passengers using actuators that sync with music and translate it into real-time vibration effects.

This feature is available only for front-row passengers, who can now enjoy their favourite music with a 4D effect. There are a total of four vibration points integrated into the seat, positioned around the thigh and lower back areas. When played it creates a vibration effect around those points according to the music.
Kia cars are already known for their customer-centric features, and this Vibro Sound system further elevates the experience. The media playback intensity can be adjusted across five different levels, similar to smartphones. The Seltos is already one of the best-selling SUVs in Korea, especially among younger buyers.

Will Kia Bring it to India?
In India, Kia has updated the Seltos on a newer platform, offering more features, space, and technology compared to the previous-generation model. The Vibro Sound system is currently not available in the Indian market.
However, it could be introduced later, possibly in the top-spec variants. Kia is also planning to introduce hybrid versions of the Seltos, and this feature could debut alongside those models.

The Seltos is offered with three powertrain options: a 1.5L petrol engine producing 84.2 kW and 143.8 Nm, a 1.5L GDi petrol engine delivering 117.5 kW and 253 Nm, and a 1.5L CRDi diesel engine producing 85 kW and 250 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed IVT, 6-speed iMT, 7-speed DCT, and 6-speed automatic.
The new-generation Seltos is also safer than before, as it has scored 5 stars in the Bharat NCAP crash tests, even outperforming key rivals like the Tata Sierra. The price of the Seltos starts at ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
